These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website operated by Kansa & Co. under the brand name KAANSA (“KAANSA”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing, browsing, or purchasing from our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
1. Eligibility
By using this website or placing an order, you confirm that:

• The information you provide to us is accurate, complete, and current.
• You will use the website only for lawful purposes.
• If you are placing an order on behalf of another person or entity, you have the necessary authority to do so.

4. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, photographs, specifications, dimensions, colours, finishes, and other product information are accurate.
Because many KAANSA products are handcrafted or made from natural and traditional materials such as brass, bronze, and copper, minor variations in colour, finish, texture, weight, shape, patina, and surface detailing may occur. Such variations may be natural characteristics of material or craftsmanship and do not necessarily constitute a product defect.
Product images may appear slightly different depending on device, screen settings, lighting, or photography conditions.
5. Legal Metrology & Statutory Product Information
Where applicable, KAANSA provides information relating to weight, dimensions, quantity, material, packaging, declarations, and other statutory requirements in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Product measurements and weights may have reasonable manufacturing or measurement variations. Where a product is sold by weight, quantity, dimensions, or another regulated parameter, applicable statutory requirements will prevail.
Customers should review product descriptions, specifications, labels, and applicable statutory information before purchasing.
6. Orders
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase selected products. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
We may accept or decline an order, cancel due to unavailability, pricing/listing errors, suspected fraud, payment issues, or other legitimate reasons, and request additional information where reasonably necessary to verify an order.
After acceptance, an order confirmation will be sent through the contact details provided. An order confirmation does not guarantee dispatch where circumstances beyond our reasonable control affect availability or fulfilment.
7. Prices & Taxes
Prices may change without prior notice. Applicable taxes, including GST or other statutory charges, will be applied as required by law and displayed where applicable.
If an obvious pricing error is identified, we may cancel the affected order and refund payment already made, subject to applicable law.
8. Payments
Payment methods are provided through our website and authorized payment service providers. By submitting payment information, you confirm authorization to use the selected method.
Payment transactions may be processed through third-party gateways. KAANSA does not generally store complete card or banking credentials on its own systems.
An order may be cancelled or placed on hold where payment is unsuccessful, unauthorized, reversed, flagged for fraud, or otherwise not successfully received.
9. Shipping & Delivery
KAANSA ships orders according to the shipping options and delivery timelines communicated at purchase. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to location, courier serviceability, public holidays, festivals, weather, transportation disruptions, operational/logistical delays, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Once handed to the delivery partner, a shipment may be subject to that partner’s operational processes. Please refer to our Shipping Policy for complete information.
10. Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled where cancellation is available before dispatch. Once dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible.
Third-party marketplace orders are governed by the applicable marketplace policy. KAANSA may also cancel for product unavailability, incorrect pricing, payment issues, suspected fraud, or other legitimate operational reasons, subject to applicable law.
11. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
KAANSA follows a separate Return, Refund & Exchange Policy. Products delivered in good and undamaged condition may not be eligible for return unless permitted by that policy or required by law.
Damaged, incorrect, or missing-product claims may be subject to verification, including an unboxing video and other supporting evidence where specified. Refunds, where approved, will follow the applicable policy. Third-party marketplace orders follow the marketplace’s applicable policies.
12. Personalized & Engraved Products
Personalized, customized, engraved, or specially made products are created according to customer specifications. Once production has commenced, such products may not be eligible for cancellation, return, refund, or exchange except where required by law or where received damaged, incorrect, or otherwise eligible under our policy.
Customers are responsible for the accuracy of names, initials, dates, spellings, symbols, measurements, and other details supplied. KAANSA is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect information supplied by the customer.
13. Product Care & Safe Use
Customers must follow applicable care and usage instructions. Brass, bronze, and copper products may naturally develop changes in colour, patina, or finish over time.
Products should be used only for their intended purpose. Food/beverage products should be used according to product-specific instructions. Decorative, religious, ceremonial, or utility products should not be used inconsistently with their intended purpose.
KAANSA is not responsible for damage resulting from misuse, improper care, unauthorized modification, negligence, or failure to follow instructions, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Wellness & Information Content
Wellness, lifestyle, traditional, cultural, Ayurvedic, or general informational content is for general information only and is not medical, nutritional, therapeutic, diagnostic, or professional advice.
Traditional or cultural references are not guarantees of health or therapeutic benefits. Consult a qualified professional for medical or health-related advice.
15. Promotions, Offers & Discount Codes
Promotions, discounts, vouchers, and coupon codes are subject to stated terms and validity. Unless otherwise stated, codes may not be combined, may be limited by product/customer/quantity/order value, and cannot generally be exchanged for cash.
We may modify, suspend, or withdraw offers where permitted by law. We may correct or cancel transactions affected by technical or system errors, subject to applicable law.
16. Intellectual Property Rights
All KAANSA website content, including brand names/logos, photographs, product designs, text, graphics, artwork, videos, website design, layout, trademarks, and trade dress, is owned by, licensed to, or lawfully used by Kansa & Co. and/or KAANSA.
Content may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, republished, displayed, or commercially exploited without prior written permission, except where permitted by applicable law. Nothing grants ownership or a licence unless expressly stated.
17. Reviews & User-Generated Content
Where customers submit reviews, photographs, videos, comments, testimonials, or other content, they confirm the content is accurate, they have necessary rights/permissions, and it does not violate law or third-party rights or contain harmful, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, or misleading material.
By submitting content, you grant KAANSA a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide right to use, reproduce, display, publish, adapt, and distribute it for legitimate business, marketing, promotional, and informational purposes, subject to applicable law.
We may remove content that violates these Terms or is otherwise inappropriate.
18. Third-Party Websites & Services
Our website may use third-party payment, logistics, analytics, social media, technology, and other services. Their use may be subject to their own terms and policies.
KAANSA is not responsible for the independent practices, availability, security, content, or policies of third-party services.
